Short version: you can delete your account and personal data at any time from inside the app (Settings → Delete account). Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Trees that were already planted stay planted.
1. Delete from the app (recommended)
Open Treefy and go to Settings.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
Read what will be lost, then type the confirmation word shown in the dialog.
Tap Delete permanently.
The app removes your data from our servers and signs you out. There is no grace period: once confirmed, the account is gone. You can create a new account later with the same phone number, but none of the previous progress will be restored.
2. What is deleted
Your profile: name, phone number, profile photo, language and notification preferences.
Your progress: credits, streak, daily bonuses and the history of trees earned in the app.
Your invite code and any pending referral rewards.
Your entries in all community leaderboards (current and past periods).
Device tokens used for push notifications and in-app notification state.
Your Firebase authentication account.
3. What is kept
Trees already planted remain planted with our reforestation partner. They are real trees; deleting your account does not undo them.
Payment records (Stripe and Google Play purchases, scheduled gifts) are kept in anonymized form for accounting and legal obligations: your user id, name, email and personal messages are replaced by a deleted marker, while amounts, currency and planting evidence are retained.
Gift certificates already emailed to other people are not recalled. If you gifted trees to another Treefy user, their history keeps the trees but no longer shows your name.
Aggregated, non-identifying statistics (for example the global tree counter).
4. If you can't access the app
Email treefyapp@gmail.com from an address you control and include the phone number you used to sign up. We will verify the request and delete the account within 30 days, then confirm by email. The same data described above is deleted and kept.
5. Health data
Step counts read from Google Health Connect or Apple Health are processed on-device and never stored on our servers, so there is nothing to delete on our side. You can revoke access at any time in your device's Health Connect / Apple Health settings.
